Before I was into Bitcoin, I was a gold bug. Last weekend I was at a dinner party and talk got around to financial matters. One guy was nonsensical, predicting inflation yet at the same time predicting that gold would go down to $900. Ever since the dinner party I've regretted not challenging the guy (who had the air of someone who thought he knew what he was talking about) to put his money where his mouth was- I wish I had bet him $20 that the price of gold wouldn't go down to $900 by the end of the year.
