We planned our reunion with our former colleagues last July 2013. We conducted a final meeting last first week of December 2013. We can't decide the date easily then because we have to consider the schedule of the attendees. We want this reunion with the former colleagues to be successful because we will do it once after 16 years.

        My husband picked the date of the reunion because he still have contact with most of the attendees so he knew their schedule. He chose Dec.23 at 10 a.m. till night to be our final reunion. We decided to celebrate it in a private resort somewhere in Laguna. It was settled then so we just have to wait for that day.

On Dec. 22, 2013 My husband attended their company's Christmas party. When he's about to come home on Dec. 23 at 3 a.m. he was already tipsy. When he crossed the street to go home he was hit by a raging motor cycle. He was unconscious when we found him lying on the street. We rushed him to the hospital but he was already in coma that time. After 48 hours in the ICU he gave up.

All our colleagues who are about to attend in the said reunion didn't go there instead they all came to him when he was still in the hospital fighting for his life. The reunion really took place but not in the resort as we planned but in the hospital where we brought him.

He really chose that date for us to be together again with former colleagues but we didn't expected that it will be in his burial. He still made it to our reunion.
