You may have heard this before, but have you seen how THINK is used as an acronym? I really like this advice and I wish everyone would use it.

T - TRUE - Is what you're about to say truthful?
H - HELPFUL - Is what you're about to say helpful?
I - INSPIRING - Is what you're about to say inspiring?
N- NECESSARY - Is what you're about to say necessary?
K - KIND - Is what you're about to say kind?

If what you're about to say isn't all five things, DON'T SAY IT!

My mom is the queen of mean. She'll walk up to someone and tell them they're fat. sure, it might be true, but it's not helpful, necessary, or kind and only serves to be hurtful.

Words hurt more than weapons, so THINK before you speak.
