The very talented Canadian musician Andrew Huang made another YouTube hit as he covers the 1980s hit 99 Luftballons (recorded in English as 99 Red Balloons) by a German pop artist Nena. This is not just an ordinary cover you could see online; here he uses only red balloons. At first thought, it may sound odd, but after hearing, it is extremely amazing.

However, he did not use the actual 99 pieces of balloons, but he used only four. "Thought about using 99 balloons but it worked with 4 so mehhh," he wrote.

Using those four balloons, he created multiple sounds from different musical instruments like bass and synths; multiple tracks like kick, snare and bass drum; and the song’s melody by manipulating the balloon in a variety of ways to produce different sounds.

According to the description, he filmed this video around an hour, but took “ten hours of computering”.

He already has an upcoming cover to do. He will perform another 1980s hit of Dexys Midnight Runners’ Come On Eileen using multi-colored party streamers.

This unbelievable 99 Red Balloons cover using four red balloons reached closely a million views since posting day on Tuesday.

Do you play it over and over again like me? Don’t forget to like and share.
