Timberline Lodge

Oregon Snow is crucial to the success of a ski resort, and Mount Hood is overachieving in that department. The slopes at Timberline Lodge offer the longest ski season in North America with 12 months of consecutive skiing. The resort also served as the exterior of the hotel in Stanley Kubrick’s classic horror film The Shining. Today, Timberline Lodge is a National Historic Landmark.
