Time is very Important
Time is one of the most important parts of our lives, because without it we would not be able to have a saving connection. When things are scarce, they become valuable because people can't get enough to satisfy their needs. Since no one can reclaim lost time, it's important to make the most of the time one has on Earth. Most people like to make memories with family and loved ones to pass the time. They do this in many different ways.
They visit family members at holidays and during special events. They also start families of their own and make memories with them. With limited time, people like to enjoy their lives. They go to college, purchase homes and progress through their careers, so they can have an enjoyable life while they have time. There are also many people who are ill who long for more time with their family and friends.
They may feel their time on Earth was limited, but they still make the most of the days they have remaining.Although these societal events describe what many people do with their time on Earth, there are no absolutes regarding the best way to enjoy life. Some people find that living a non-traditional life is the best use of their time. They may travel the world or choose to spend their time with no worldly possessions. However, how they spend their time is their decision. What makes one person happy does not always make others happy.
What’s so important about time? In a world where time reinvents itself constantly, we consider it precious. Many of us become irritated, feel distracted or even lose our cool when people don’t respect our time. Do we return the favor by respecting theirs? Can we expect punctuality and presence from others if we are consistently late or detached? In that case, are we wasting our own time as well? Respecting time is more than punctuality. It’s being focused, arriving to meetings, work and appointments on time and being present. And, it’s a simple way to show respect for others.
There are reasons to use effective time management at work.
1. Priortize
Using time management in the workplace allows you to proirtize all projects and daily tasks. Ranking them in order of importance. This ends up being a priotized list or to do list. This will keep you and your employees focused on a daily basis.
2. Setting Goals
Here you will find several advantages of time manangement. Setting short and long term goals will let you plan deadlines so you can adjust if needed. Many leaders use short and long term goals for self improvements, carrer growth and even projects around the house. The trick here is to incorporate short and long term goals into your daily tasks a couple times a week.
3. Productivity
Another great reason to use time management at work is that it increases productivity. With higher focus on projects and timelines employees will find more efficent ways to complete tasks. Also employees who have a hard time in finding solutions for completeing tasks will seek help sooner instead of later.
4. Performance
Employee Performance will increase as a result of increased productivity. This will allow you to jump ahead to some special projects or long term goals. Leaders will also benifit from the ability to collect information for reviews.
5. Procrastination
Time management in the workplace can also eliminate procrastination. The ever popular saying "I'll do it later" or I'll do it tommarow" will never be heard of again. Leaders who are strong at managing time will have the ability to schedule the rights tasks with the right time frames. Also leaders can make sure that their employees understand that tasks are expected to be completed and without excuses.
6. Developes Employees
I have used this reason myself quite often. When you put together a list of tasks for a new employee you can actually train and develope at the same time. Leaders will have the ability to lay the foundation and build on that. The new employee will learn the process. Along with what are the expectations of a leader.
7. Break Bad Habits
The benifits of time management in the workplace will be wide spread. Having the ability to break bad work habits will only strengthen the workplace. This will take some time and not happen overnight. Accomplishing this will also imporve productivity and performance.
9. Improves Life
One of the best things that time management in the workplace can do is its affect on your work life. Every part of managing time at work translate to outside of work. The problem here is that many people don't follow through with this.
Many people decide to ignore managing time at home. The result is a personnel life that's in chaos. The constant running around like a chicken with its head cut off. So don't make the mistake of ignoring time management. Remember if its good enough for the workplace, then its good enough for your personnel life.
Wasting Time
I look back on too many instances where I wasted time. Instead of spending time watching useless television programs or horrible movies, I could have been out meeting people, traveling or reading life-changing books. In those instances, I didn’t really value the time I had as something important.
I can see how unimportant time is for other people too. I’ve had many jobs where people are excited to get even the least important of things to do because it “kills time” until they get off work. I consider the time I have to be one of the most important and precious of gifts you can possibly have. So to see their glee at “killing” it simply saddens me.
Don’t Waste Time plz
The strange thing about all the time we have is how few people seem to appreciate it. After all, how many people do you know that work all day in jobs they hate or stay in relationships they can’t stand? I don’t know why you’d want to spend a single second doing something intolerable.
I’ve done all my busy work in grade school. I don’t want to waste any more of my most precious resource. And neither should you. Life is too short to waste it on things that don’t matter. All the time you spend in bad relationships or workplaces just isn’t worth it.
Get rid of all those time-wasters. Spend little to none of your time in situations you can’t stand. It might take a lot of time and effort to get where you want to be. But I’d say all that time was spent wisely.
Thank you
