TIME MANEGEMENT
“Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.”
― Mother Teresa
What is TIME? How do you rate Time? What is the importance of TIME in your life? when These and many other questions relating TIME occurs in your mind, that's a sign that have realized the value and importance of time. Time is valuable, its value is easily overlooked and eventually TIME is lost. In this blog I want to present some techniques on how can you manage your time using tools and techniques used by some famous personalities and how they used their time and reached the peak of their success. First of all what we need to focus on is the importance and value of time, I have seen many people wasting time like its useless and that they will get same amount of time later and nothing is getting away from their hands but what they don't get is that Time will never come back once its gone. You need to take out most of your given time. You know what is the beauty over here, everyone is given the same amount of time, the rich people can't say that their children don't sleep and the poor can't say that their children sleep and lose all the time given while the rich children uses the time effectively. We all are given same amount of days, months, years, minutes and seconds, no one has more and no one has less, everyone is equal. The difference is only the priorities! Some people set goals, structure their days, set priorites and manage their time effectively than other people. I will show you how you can too benefit from these techniques and how you can use these techniques to move you from where you are today to where you want to be tomorrow.

1. PRIORITIES
Priorities can be easily understood as whats important, you need to see what is more important right now and try to do that first. If you are a student, you need to think like a student and see what is more important to you, your studies right, you have set goals for yourself to where you want to be and what to want to be in the future, now is the time to work all the way up, focus on your time and try to understand what you are studying, use computers, internet and phones as tools not as distraction tools but tools that will help you to better understand your studies. If I had understand the value of time and how to use my given tools effectively I would have been some place better than where I am today. What I didnt pay attention to was these tools, we can use this time to actually figure out what are we doing here and what is our passion. The education system is such a wonderful system that it makes us undergo every field in this world and makes us study every thing in the period of 10 years that we can all see our potential and our strengths and weaknesses. Use this TIME effeciently and figure out what is your purpose of life and what you want to become and how can you give back to the society. Use your time for the important things in your life, set priorites. I can help you out over here, I can see that I have heard this word too when i has 13 years old in a workshop which i took on Time management, but HOW?? we all know there are certain ways to certain things, yes, we get it but how we do that? why the workshops are not telling us how? Just last week I heard a great motivational speaker, Qasim Ali Shah, explaining the importance of time and he said,
In order to manage your time you need to set priorites and how can you do that is to make 7 baskets in your mind and if its hard for you to make it in your mind, try to physically set up 7 baskets on top of your shelf or cupboard or whenever you can see them daily in the morning and when you go to sleep in the evening, those 7 baskets should be labelled as your priorites and how can you give time to all those 7 baskets daily and you should give time to all these 7 baskets on a daily basis in order to have all the success and peace in your life. what you label those baskets is all up to you, I chose these 7 important stuff which I need to do on a daily basis and if I am busy which basket would understand and which basket should not be comprised in any way, I chose those 7 labels as Religion, Passion, Family, Myself, Work, Social life and entertainment. the Priority depends upon the time and value at that time, for example, sometimes my work requires my more time so I would leave entertainment and even 2 to 3 baskets in order to get my work done but excuse your family and keep them updated about your work and tell your family that you are very important to me but what i am doing is for your better future and I need to do this for this long, your family wont disagree with you but will appreciate you.
My God! how beautifully he explained how can we prioritize our day and how can we manage time. I have heard people say that I spend so much time working on my project or studies that i dont have time for myself and my family and friends, how should I manage time? There is also a term which should be understood very clearly and you should know the imporatnce of it, its called PRIME TIME! everyone has his/her own prime time. Maybe one can do effectively in the night when everyone else is asleep while some people can work well when he gets up in the morning or after dinner, afer a walk, after anything, you need to point out your Prime time and start working from there, the more work done in a day will give you more confidence in coming days to work even more them more then all of a sudden the wall is broken and you find yourself working more than 6 hours and results starts pouring in and there you are, on the way to your destiny.

2. SET YOUR GOALS
“For what it’s worth: it’s never too late or, in my case, too early to be whoever you want to be. There’s no time limit, stop whenever you want. You can change or stay the same, there are no rules to this thing. We can make the best or the worst of it. I hope you make the best of it. And I hope you see things that startle you. I hope you feel things you never felt before. I hope you meet people with a different point of view. I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the courage to start all over again.”
― Eric Roth, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Screenplay
Set your goals, feel free to set them in any way you like, in any phase of life, in any age, but set goals for yourself. Keep one thing in your mind while setting goals is that you are a human and not a machine, set goals that are achievable by you and when you start fininshing your 5 goals for a day, write bonus goals that can done after yours important ones and if not those bonus goals can be done the next day after completing your goals, those bonus goals can be anything which you like, either its a goal for tomorrow and you have time today so you can do it today but its your like, your decisions, you are the one in control, think good stuff about you, take care of yourself first, you dont want to see you broke, right.

You need to set goals in a way that will accelerate you even farther rather than push you back to ground zero, be patient and enjoy your little pitfalls, get up back again with a new way to succeed, keep going, dont you ever stop, dont you ever give up, never give up. When you give up and waste your time regretting, procrastinating and worrying about useless stuff which you cannot control, THE PAST, you can either learn from it or run from it. LEARN from it mu friend, you need to learn from the past that i would never do such thing again or I will never waste my time again and I will spend more time on quality of my life rather than just wasting myself earning or working. I will management my time effectively, spending quality time with my friends and family because that makes me fresh and a new person and I do my work effeciently after that quality time. I will spend more time on myself because that will make me peaceful at heart that I never was hard on myself and I took care of my body and my health that today at this age I am still enjoying life like a 25 year old. Set goals, I will give you an example of goals and how can you set your monthly, weekly, daily and yearly goals.

How to set goals for yourself: here is a simple example or you can say that its a template on your goal setting.
YEARLY GOALS: Write down where do you want to see yourself in the next 5 years, 10 years, and 20 years. Set your goal, i mean write your goal for example I wanted to start writing blogs on motivation in 5 years, for that i spend my days reading books and going to workshops and learning motivation and how to inspire so that i can write blogs, next I want to be a motivational speaker in the next 10 years, motivating students and in the next 20 years I want to motivate professionsals in a corporate etc. when i know what I want from my life I will set goals according to it and i will learn and excel myself according to it.
MONTHLY GOALS: write down what you want to do in the next month, how many days you want to give on yourself and how many days you want to take off and how many days you want to spend quality time with your friends and family. This is the best time to set priorites and working on your 7 baskets.
WEEKLY GOALS: This is the best time to set your goals for the work, how many hours you will spend on your project, how many hours you will spend reading books or attending workshops and learning and in my case, how many blogs per week I should write.
DAILY GOALS: Now, set your daily goals very carefully not to hurt yourself, if its a day for going out with your friends, think of it as a day aff and enjoy your time without looking at your phone and trying to be a multi tasker and doing multiple things at once, if you can easily do it, then do it, but if you are like me, focus on one thing at a time, if you are writing, lock yourself up in a room and write what you have learned and if you are learning, spend your time learning and not memorizing. To set your daily goals, check your weekly goals first and then plan away your day first thing in the morning.
