CPU or Processor:

  • BRAND - Intel and AMD. Intel is in lead.
  • FREQUENCY (GHZ) - This determines speed of the processor. higher speed,Better CPU.
  • CORES - Now a days CPUs come with more than one core, Programs which can take advantage of multi-core, so more core will run faster on such machine.
  • CACHE - Higher the L1, L2 cache, Better the CPU performance.

MOTHERBOARD:

  • Serves as single flatform to connect all of the parts of a computer together. Cpu, memory, hard disk drive, optical drive, video card etc. it is considered as the backbone of the computer.
  • Popular Brands: Intel, Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Abit, Biostar, and Ecs.
  • Motherboard has different CPU Socket type depends on your Processor.
  • LGA 1150 or Socket 1150 is the latest Motherboard for intel flatform which support up to i7 series processor.
  • AM3+ or Socket AM3+ for AMD flatform that support AMD FX series processor.

MEMORY:

  • RAM Is considered as memory as performance of a computer, it is directly proportional to its memory and processor.

  • The power supply directly connected to Motherboard.
  • 500watts, 600 watts and 750 watts are most available today.
  • 600watts or higher is recommended.

OPTICAL DISC DRIVE:

  • it is use for playing or reading Dvd, Cd and Blu-ray disc.

Monitor:

  • Resolution - This is the number of pixels on the screen example: 1920 X 1200 width by length. High resolution provides better picture quality and gaming video graphics performance.
