Titanic Posted on 25 October 2014 at 01:47 I find it so amazing that even after all these years, we are STILL talking about this movie! I was really young when I saw this and I recall not being able to see the famous love scene of DeCaprio and Winslet as it was not for kids hehe.. But love scene aside, this is truly phenomenal and I must say one of the best, if not the greatest film ever made.Obviously this movie was beyond outstanding otherwise people wouldn't even bother to talk about it. I personally enjoyed this film immensely, and I still do! It certainly touched the hearts of many. With Titanic, everyone was in awe. Let's face it, a film like this had never been made before. At least not with the type of special effects needed to really capture the essence of the ship actually sinking. This film is so accurate that even James Cameron timed the actual sinking of the ship in the film with the REAL sinking that fateful day in April 1912.Personally, I LOVE this film to bits. However, this film might not be for everyone, but for most of us who happened to see this can attest how riveting the whole movie was..The story itself was sweet. The dialogue could have been better, but let's face it...the real star of the movie wasn't Leo or Kate...it was that GIGANTIC ship! I think all of the actors including DeCaprio and Winslet did an excellent job as far as acting is concerned.. Very moving and it tugs at the heartstrings to say the least.. This gave everyone who saw it an incomparably great cinematic experience of a lifetime.. No wonder it fared well the whole awards season in 1998 Oscars included..
