Ooo I have just realised that if I am not quick I might just miss celebrating a very special day in the food lovers calendar. Yes today is National Sandwich Day so what better reason can I have for an almost midnight snack.I think I can hear two slices of bread calling me and saying that want a filling shoved between them.

Hmm but what filling shall we have?

I could awaken my sweet tooth and have a kiddie special and get the large jar of Nuttella out of the cupboard.

Hmm maybe not, because for some reason I seem to be developing a more savoury taste at the moment.

Now I do have some nice tasty mature cheddar cheese in the fridge and even a slice or two of ham.

Mmm now that sounds better so maybe I should make a midnight club sandwich, hand, cheese and pickle.
