Friendship Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of August every year. So, today is Friendship Day of this year. The day is dedicated in honor of friends. The tradition of celebrating Friendship Day began in US in 1935 but gradually it gained popularity and today Friendship Day is celebrated in almost all the countries of the world. People on this day always try to spend time with their friends and express love for them or at least try to communicate with them by phone calls or SMS.
