Every year 5th of June is celebrated as the World Environment Day (WED) to raise global awareness about preservation of the Environment. The programme is run by United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).  Media and different international celebrities encourage WED celebrations by endorsing and taking part in it. Every year the day is celebrated on a new theme. The theme for 2015 is 'Seven Billion Dreams; One Planet; Consume with Care'. Let us hope the celebration would raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet Earth.
