The power horn and "possibles bag"...would be larger, or smaller, depending on how the hunter intends to be in the bush... convieniance of carry being the main consideration. For an extended hunt, the horn should hold about a pound of powder, and the bag... its equvalent in balls, cleaning supplies... flints or caps as the case may be... a small bullet moud to recast any recovered ammunition, nipple wrench, screwdriver... and enough concentrated food, say, parched corn and deer tallow.. maybe a lump of permmican.. Enough to keep one going for a couple of days in the bush...
