If you love James Franco, you are going to love this one. He stars a newly divorced teacher, Jake, who finds a portal that can transport him back in time to October 1960. Jake decides to use unique ability to prevent the assassination of John F. Kennedy. The series loosely based off of a Stephan King book is a sci-fi thriller that you have to check out.
3. The Mindy Project (6 seasons)
This comedy follows the sexy OB/ GYN, Mindy Kaling, through the trials and tribulations of a single woman in today's world trying to balance a career and raising a child and still find time to have a love life. try"A single-camera comedy, starring that follows a skilled OB/GYN navigating the tricky waters of both her personal and professional life, as she pursues her dreams of becoming the perfect woman, finding the perfect man and getting her perfect romantic comedy ending.
Aaron Paul plays Eddie Lane, a man trying nothing more than to live a simple life with Sarah and their two children, Hawk and Summer. The catch is that they all members of the Meyerist Movement, which is a combination of almost every cult-like movement known to man. Eddie has a revelation that causes him to struggle with his faith leading to trouble in his family as he tries separating from the movement. This by far one of my top faves this year!
1. The Handmaid's Tale (one season)
After the majority of the country's women lose the ability to have children, A religion-based tyranny takes over the United States. The country strips the rights of women and puts them as second-class citizens. Hooked already aren't you? The all-star cast including Elisabeth Moss and Samira Wiley keep you glued to the screen for the whole season.
