Tortang Giniling ( Ground Meat Omelette )

Tortang Giniling is a ground meat omelette. Meat is mix with egg and fry rather than the egg folded around a filling. The basic step is to saute first the meat with garlic, onions before mixing the egg. You can use ground pork and beef .

My Recipe Ingredients:

¼ kilogram ground pork or beef
3 cloves garlic
1 piece onion, sliced
2 pieces of egg
1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 potato

1 /4 carrots
Salt for seasoning

Recipe Cooking Procedure:

1. In a pan, sauté garlic and onion.
2. Add potato and carrots
3. Add ground meat and stir fry until its color turns light brown. Season the meat with salt and pepper according to your taste. Set aside.
4. Crack the eggs in a bowl and beat using fork. Add the stir fried meat to the egg and mix.
5. Place 2 tablespoon of oil in a frying pan and place ½ of egg-meat mixture. Spread the meat in the pan forming a patty then fry each at least two minutes.
6. Serve with ketchup.
