What lessons i've learnt during my film experiences this semester.
From my experiences on third year films I have learnt a lot. Some things I had took on to my own film, organisation was definitely a big one. i realised to make things run smoothly and the way you need, they need to correlate with the type and style of film you are making. Plan a head and for each segment of the film, think of what can go wrong and what could potentially go wrong on the day.
Stay calm, don't stress out as otherwise you can't think straight. A director needs to think of everything, from sound to the edit, ensure everything is thought of both before and on set. if one thing is forgotten i could effect the outcome of your finished film.
Be passionate about your subject, if you have no motivation to create the film, you won't make a film you're happy with let alone a good film. So make sure you want to make it, be interested, find motivation, influences and sources to help create it.
