Tim Sherwood in his interview seriously criticized his players and the expectations was that Tottenham will bounce back against Benfica at home. The Premier League table is not shaping up and building up well for Tottenham as four clubs above them don’t look like conceding their position to a team in an inconsistent form, while losing on all other fronts like FA Cup and Carling Cup, the two propositions are only left for Tottenham to make it not a failing season these are Premier League and the Europa League. Tottenham are listed as the favorites to win the trophy and claim the trophy for third time, though they face a great challenge in the round of 16 match from Benfica.

This season cannot get more worse than this and recovery may be difficult going into next season.
