Watched Trouble Every Day last night.
Starts slow and murky- picks up the paces somewhat but stays murky. The two main characters- each half of a married couple- are erotic vampire cannibals. They contracted a nasty vampiric malady as the result of human medical experimentation in Guyana. There's enough erotic gore to keep this viewer interested but the film is quite laconic by American standards. The soundtrack by Tindersticks is very good, and what the film lacks in plot and dialog it tries to make up for by arty stylish photography. The viewer is given minimal clues as to what is going on, which lends an unusual mysterious tone which manages to draw the viewer in. The magnificent French actress Béatrice Dalle is worth watching in anything.
