Education begins at home. Particularly, it begins at the moment the mother conceive a child. When a fetus starts to develop, there's a string connection between the mother and a child, thus, communication takes place. Education is a two-way process. The educator educate the learner at the same time the educator itself is learning. Every thought of a mother reflects to the fetus inside her. Every touch of a mother and father will ignite the fast development of that little thing inside.
The moment the child born, and see the world around him/her, the parents should not get tired on educating the child. Since the world is revolving, the nature of parenthood also changes. Some parents both need to work to sustain the needs of the children. And sometimes unwanted child develops. Commonly, during pregnancy, both parents undergo such traumatic problems that also affect the development of the fetus. Third party, family from the other side, or even financial stability problems occur in a marriage life. In that way, there's a tendency that abnormality of giving birth occur and it affects the mental development of the child as he/she grow older.
As the child grows, he may undergo traumatic stages that may cause his/her:

Mental Development - it prevent the normal mental abilities of the child. He may seems talking to himself/herself.

Social Development - he/she may be aloof from anyone surrounds him/her. He seems couldn't trust anyone, yet he/she is looking for a parent figure to make him/her comfortable.

Emotional Development - emotionally, the child is affected. He/She seems no one to lean on. He/she easily get tantrum and angry then cry until sometimes, he/she goes to the point on hurting himself/herself.
In child psychology, an educator should not judge his/her learner directly to what he/she sees for the very first time. To understand the behavior of a child, the educator must undergo a wide research to his/her learner's background.

Make friends to the child's family is the most easy way to know the child's attitude.

Make a research on the background of both parents is also a way to calculate why the child is different from the others.
I quit teaching in school and focus myself on tutorial. Tutorial is much different from teaching a huge number of learners in the four corners of a single room. Though I am happy in teaching little ones specifically it was the foundation of the level of education. But, I found more passion on my one-on-one tutorial. On my years of being a tutor and teacher previously, my learners have their different backgrounds. But I will focus on my special education tutorial. Six years ago, I had a learner who was 12 years old. It's not normal for a child on his age who doesn't know how to read nor write even a single letter. My first month with him was very hard for me that made me burst into tears in-front of my Administrator and Principal, begging to quit my tutorial on him and will focus on my teaching career. But, it went on until the next month, and the following months. I applied the child psychology process, using overt psychology just to find out the three causes of the child's disabilities. Thru it I got my answers. No one could ever imagine for 2 months, the child learned to write, identify the letter sounds (soft, short, long, hard sounds), and could be able to write and identify numbers. For 5 months we are in the phrases, and then moving to sentences, until before the 10 months end, he could be able to read and comprehend a story. I cannot described the feelings I had that time. He was my first achievement in my tutorial of special education aside from my classroom learners. There two followed him, and that's the reason why I quit teaching in classroom.
The last learner I have in special education is the one I have now. He is much different from the those three ahead of him. This time, he went tantrum. Bit his hands, bump his head, talking to himself, cried a lot, and wanted all my attention will be focus on him. Again I reapply the aforementioned strategies. In addition, I realized that being a tutor of his, I must be presentable, physically and befriend with him. I watched the movie of Aamir Khan "Every Child is a Special" not just once but many times. It helped me a lot. How he passionately love his work as a teacher. When I started playing with the child before we go to our mean lessons on reading, I found out that he liked to participate on it afterwards.
Sometimes we have our selfies, sat on the floor, teasing each others. I realized that an educator must go down from the level of the child just to get his/her attention.
He love to do selfies most of the time. He's hardheaded, yet sweet. Sometimes, teachers in school ignore him and consider him as they often say "special". Being with this boy makes me learn many things. He made me developed my perseverance, understanding, patience, meekness, and going down to the level of each child. These were the things I learned from him.
I am proud being his tutor. May his parents could see the achievement of this child. I'm sure they will be happy for him.
We are all educators depending on the level of our capabilities and our passion.
