KARACHI: At least two Rangers personnel were killed and four others including civilians injured in an explosion near Shadman Town neighbourhood of North Nazimabad area here on Friday evening.

Initial reports suggest that a patrolling vehicle of Rangers paramilitary force was the apparent target of the attack, which took place near Karachi’s North Nazimabad block-J.

Rescue and security teams have been dispatched to the site.

Injured were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where two Rangers officials succumbed to their wounds.
