Wendy kept on crying for a while, but when she found the courage to speak, she said, "I love you, Billy," she sobbed. "I understand now. We're not meant to be."

Billy smiled bitterly. She stepped out of the house and wiped her tears. Billy tried to stop her. "Wendy..."

"Goodbye." Wendy walked away.

Billy didn't know what to do. He wanted to stop Wendy but it was too late. He was surprise to find tears falling down his cheek. "Wendy.." he whispered to himself. "If you only knew..."

Billy looked at the mirror.
Put his tie.
Pressed his coat.
Turned around.
Took a deep breath.
Grabbed the car keys.
And drove to the bride's house.
