Today, a blog on Typepad costs upwards upwards of $8.95 per month, which includes a set of designs, unlimited storage and customer service. Typepad emphasizes its reliability, and certainly the platform has always been a more ‘out-of-the-box’ service that is easier to use, but less customizable and powerful than WordPress. Pros: Easy to set up and use. Cons: Not free and contains limitations.
