According to Bouncer Chronicles, the UFC has reserved a date in December for a Garden event should the sport become legal in New York this year. UFC President Dana White did not specify the exact date but UFC's website says UFC 194 is scheduled for December 5 at a location to be announced.
White said "obviously it will be a bad (expletive) card. We come to New York City were going to blow it out of the water." This once again depends on the bill to legalize and regulate Professional Mixed Martial Arts in New York State. It has to pass through the State Assembly by the end of this year's legislative session that ends in June and be signed into law by Governor Andrew Cuomo.
In late March the bill passed through the State Senate for the 6th straight year.
