When you see statues in Parks, this is the formula:
If a statue in the park of a person on a horse has both front legs in the air, the person died in battle. If the horse has one front leg in the air, the person died from battle wounds. If the horse has all four legs on the ground, the person died of natural causes.
I've been going through old files on my computer today and ran across this in textpad, so thought I'd share with you.
Oh, and the dog you see with any Lewis & Clark statue - that's a Newfoundland...the dog I wrote about below.
