ILO “ International Labour Organization” define unemployment or jobless as “ people are without jobs. Unemployment is a worldwide curse, when capability or competence is more than the opportunity.
The government is trying to reduce the unemployment rate. Unemployment rate identifies the number of population which are looking for job. The various agencies are calculate the rate of jobless consensus. According to Pakistan Bureau of Statistics in Pakistan there is rate of unemployment is 6 to 7 % in 2013-14. According to a globally report 197 million people are without job. But unfortunately Pakistan is considered to be one of those countries which have the highest rate of unemployment. There are many factors that contribute in the raise of the unemployment rate in Pakistan. Foreign investor are frightened to invest in Pakistan. When there is no investment in Pakistan no any job or opportunities can be created. If there is no opportunities for job then every body tend to unlawful methods to earn money and it is easy for anti-state elements for terrorist activities, if we consider this situation in Pakistan we can easily understand the half of the terrorist activities are a result of unemployed. A major issue in unemployed is high age of retirement which is really create problem for young and education persons. There are a large number of people which are wait for jobs but high aged retirement making young people frustrate. Government of Pakistan generate many option for young with the help of Small business finance cooperation to start small business by providing the loan.
