union is strength  is  a universal truth.The fruits of  unity are peace ,strength and prosperity .while disunity brings about trouble ..failure and rain.the story of   farmer and  his sons prove the truth of  this famous proverb....

 

once there was an old man.he had a three sons who always quarrelled  with one another.the old man was greatly worried too see this situation ..he tried to settle their disputes by words but all in vain.

the old man fell ill.he was on the verge of death..he wanted to make a last attempt to reconcile his sons .he sent for t\his sons..he asked them to bring some sticks and tie them in a bundle...

then he asked her sons break the bundle of sticks..all of them tried their best to break the bundle of sticks but non of them succeeded,,,

then farmer asked his sons to unite the bundle ..he asked them to break the sticks they broke the sticks very easily..at this point the old man addressed his sons that they would be strong and unconquerable like the bundle of sticks if united...otherwise they would be destroyed like the sticks...saying the old farmher breathed his last...

the practical piece of advise had a great impact of his quarrelling sons...they forgot their differences and conquered every obstacle in the way of success with the force of unity ,,,the story proves that union is strength
