Every one of us is familiar of the proverb "Unity is strength”. No one can neglect its important in every walk of life. It is the basic formula of success. It has great value for our existence in this cruel world. It is a fundamental feature of our life without which we cannot do a single task. There is also a similar saying about unity that “United we stand, divided we fall”.

To run a country properly unity among the people is essential. No country can exist a single day without unity. Lack of unity leads country to the disaster and destruction. Similarly lack of unity among family members ruins the whole family. History gives us its best examples like Ravana’s death when his brother left him alone; the lack of unity among last Mughal Emperors led them to the slavery of British Empire and deficiency of unity between Prithvi Raj and Jaichand gave chance to Muhammad Ghori to subdue India.

Unity is the basic need of every relationship to make them strong and long lasting. It strengthens the relationships. Its example is just like the union of threads to make firm rope. One can easily break the thread but strong effort is needed to break the rope but he fails to do so. “Where there is unity there is always victory”, said by Publilius Syrus.

The nations which lack unity, are uncivilized they have to face many problems like terrorism, poverty and unemployment etc. To solve all these problem a united effort is needed it helps to save the whole nation. The nation which is united no one can harm it. It helps the nation to achieve his mission and leads the nation to prosperity and success.

Unity is not just required to maintain the peace of one country rather it is required to maintain the peaceful environment of whole world. We should be aware of the power of unity and stay binded. It has been beautifully said “Unity is strength. When there is team work and collaboration,wonderful things can be achieved”.
