The USA men's and women's freestyle wrestling team took home 4 gold medals recently at the Wrestling World Championships at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas led by Jordan "All I See Is Gold" Burroughs. Burroughs, the reigning Olympic champion at 74 kilograms, was a perfect 6-0, outscoring his opponents 45-5. Kyle Snyder, who is only 19 years old, also won gold by defeating 5 opponents, including 2013 world bronze medalist Paulo Olinyk of Ukraine and world number 2, Russia's Abdusaiam Gadison.
New York Athletic Clubs own Adeline Gray successfully defended her 75 kilogram world title. She has now metal'd at each of her past 5 world championships, taking gold in 2012, 2014 and 2015 while taking bronze in 2011 and 2013. Helen Maroulis, a 23 year old, has won her 3rd world medal in the past 4 years. She took silver in 2012 and bronze in 2014.
According to Bouncer Chronicles, Americans Andy Bisek, James Green and Leigh Jaynes also picked up bronze medals in their respective weight classes.
