Use Facebook to connect with your circle of friends. Facebook gives you multiple tools for sharing. From writing on friends' walls to messaging, from posting photos and videos to commenting, from creating pages to forming groups for common interests, the number of sharing options you have are more than what other social media platforms offer you.
Here are some tips on how you can use Facebook to promote your content on Film Annex:
- Share your video with your friends by posting it on your wall. You can copy/paste your video’s link directly on your wall or use the Facebook Like button on your film’s page to share it instantly. Sharing your content will increase your sharing points on your Film Annex dashboard.
- You can share your blog’s link the same way by posting it on your wall or using the Facebook Like button on your blog’s page.
- Create a page to promote your content. In addition to your personal Facebook profile, you can create a page where you can post links related to your work, such as videos and blogs. Your page will have fans and followers that you can interact with. You can also use Facebook Insights to measure your page’s performance, the increase in likes, mentions, and other useful information. If you have more than one page, you can tag your pages in your posts by using the @ sign in order to create more connectivity. Invite all your friends to like your page to get more followers.
- If you are an admin on other Facebook pages in addition to your own page, you can share the links to your content also on those pages. You just have to see if it's relevant or not. And even if it isn't, it's good to throw people off sometimes.
- If you are a member of a Facebook group related to your industry, you can share your content on the group's wall or message the group members individually.
- When someone posts your link on his/her Facebook wall and shares it with his/her friends, this affects your influence. It means other people are talking about your content, and you are influencing them. So, your influence points on your Film Annex dashboard will go up as well.
