Utility Stores Corporation
Utility stores corporation Of Pakistan is an organization that operates chain stores in all over Pakistan that Provides basic commodities to general public which are lower than the open market.
History Of Utility Stores
The Utility stores corporation of pakistan was formed in 1971 staring from there 20 outlets.It was created by the prime minister of Pakistan Zufiqar Ali Bhutto.The organization have seen many ups and downs in its 40 years age and even in 2001 this organization was almost going to be finished but the Former Managing directer took charged and taken good strategies with all due respect the corporation took back steps and moved to next level and never looked back.
Governing Of the Organization
This organization is Semi-government and it governed by a board of directors consisting of Eight members.It comes under the administrative management of the Ministry of industries and Production.The MD of the Corporation is also the member of the Board.Two other members are also selected one is private sector and other two from the public sector.

Management OF Utility Stores
The head office of the utility stores is situated in Islamabad.The Managing Director is the Executive Authority of the Organization and also assisted by the four General Managers.There are 11 other Managers who assist the MD about the other departments about Buy the merchandize and other departments like Procurement,Store Operations,Finanace,HR,Sales,and also involves MIS Department.
Announcement Of the Ramadan Relief Package
The Federal Government had announced the Ramadan Relief Package 2015 in all Utility Stores of Pakistan.Government is always taking steps Forward and also the Ramadan Packages,the Subsidy was given about 1 billion and 60 corer Rupees and it has was continued till the last day of Ramadan.Government had given concession on 12 daily items.The Utility Stores had bought 50000 Metric ton Sugar and 10 Rupees subsidy given on each kg packet of Sugar.
Government OF Punjab And Ramadan Bazaars 2015
The Government of Punjab has announced a Ramadan Package which is the biggest one ever about 3.5 billion and they stalled 340 Ramadan bazaars in Ramadan in different cities of Punjab and Given lots of subsidy on the daily items as in Utility Stores and Ramadan Bazaars as well.District administration is there to look after those Ramadan and Utility Stores to have complete check and balance.
Complaints Of the People
Utility Stores are established and organized by the Government of the Punjab and the purpose of them is to provide quality food to the common man at the subsidized rates bu still the people complains in different manners.
1) Subsidized quality the goods
People complain about the quality of the oil and the other item that are available in the store are sub-standard and many of the items that are most important like Sugar ,oil , Flour etc, some times not available maximum.

2) Approach Of a Common Man
The relief that is provided to a common is out of reach of because some of the stores are of at distance and for common man it is very difficult to travel first and than to bear the charges of the Utility store.Mostly the Strength is of needy people and very poor families it is impossible for them to approach.
3) Large Populated Area and Demand
Many cities of Punjab like Lahore 340 Utility Stores are working but still there is big need of it because the demand is too high and large populated areas in Lahore Specially in the ares of Samanabad and Nishter Town,Where the population is large and the demand is too much.
4) Sugar
Utility store managers are actually selling the items at higher prices and there in no stock of Sugar is available at the stores and whereas in open market the Sugar is available as compare to the Utility stores and people are buying the Sugar from the open market rather than the stores.

Initiative Of the Government
The secretary for the Industries and the Production has informed the National Assembly that the government will open more 1000 stores across the country and this project is worth 2 billions.The secretary said with the opening of those utility stores the total number of the stores will reach to 2000.
Utility stores as a part of Business
Utility stores are making there business rather than providing relief to the people and they also refused to sell the sugar at lower cost to the people.The survey was conducted to know very shocking information in which the store keepers are giving sugar to those who are buying other items from the store otherwise the owners refuse to give it.
Purpose
The purpose of the utility stores is to provide the relief to the general public and specially ti those people who belong to very poor family and for them to save some penies and buy something else to brought up his kids and the parents.The better quality goods and the daily use items provide in cheap and lower rates.
Utility Store Consumers
The consumers of the utility stores are saying that the management should improve the quality of the items available to them rather imposing the restrictions like 'Buy Other items to buy the sugar' . The officials can demand from the Government to improve the quality of the items being sold at the Stores.
