Vauxhall Astra VXR is a high performance, heavy-duty coupe model launched by Vauxhall, an automobile company based in United Kingdom. VXR was launched in the year 2004, to replace the earlier line up of high performance cars, namely the GSi. Vauxhall is actually a subsidiary of General Motors (GM) and no other GM car ever used the VXR badge. The only exception was during 2006-2009, when the Australian wing of Vauxhall, rolled out the HSV VXR, a particular model of the Vauxhall Astra series in the same country. ‘Opel Performance Center’ is actually responsible for the development and manufacturing process of the VXR model of cars. Vauxhall Astra VXR is designed and built to assert itself as a front row, premium grade coupe. It’s specifications, makes it a very suitable car for urban environments and it was greatly appreciated by the coupe lovers
