V <3 V: Vern and Verniece Enciso

Aside from browsing through facebook, socializing here at Bitlanders, and doing tasks at spare5, some other things I always like to do whenever I have free time- is reading blogs over the internet and watching vlogs of my favorite youtubers every day. I find it so informative and interesting in the engagement of these things in a way that I get to read a lot and learn from the Youtubers and Bloggers personalities, opinions and daily life experiences from their own perspective. Sometimes it gets to the point wherein I find myself like I’m a part of them especially when I watch daily vlogs. I’m sure I can learn a lot from them, also with improving myself in English Language proficiency and blog writing skills which I find it to be very useful. I have a lot of favorites from bloggers and vloggers around the world which includes Vern and Verniece Enciso from my country, Philippines. So first of here’s a brief explanation of the difference of blogging and vlogging from www.quora.com:
A video blog is mostly comprised of videos taken by you, of you, or about a particular subject. There truly isn't much difference. A vlog uses videos where ablog primarily uses text. The same publishing platforms can be used and a video can be put on a blog while text may be added on a vlog.

The Enciso Sisters

At first glance, you might think they are twins but they are not. Vern is a year older than Verniece. Vern is 22 and Verniece is 21. They had separate blog sites way before- with Vern, the older sister first to engage in Blogging- “A Shoe Tale” (site deleted now) followed by Verniece’s blog site “Verniece Enciso”. I remember passing by Vern’s blog site “A Shoe Tale” back when I was still in high school, I then found another blog site who talks about fashion a lot with a girly sense of style which happens to be Verniece- her sister. It was in the year 2013 were they decided to have one single blog site for the both of them and that gained more popularity in the next years especially with the emerging world of blogging today. They started blogging about daily life experiences like they were writing a diary for people to read and also with fashion articles. Now they made way to even bigger categories to add on to their blog site which includes travelling from here in the Philippines and abroad and sharing their fun trip and adventures to their blog V hearts V (V <3 V). They also then made a Youtube account and started making videos. If you have known them just now by reading this, you might be confuse where is Vern and Verniece is in the picture, so let me separate then in two pictures:

V <3 V: A Blog by sisters Vern and Verniece is a travel, life, style and beauty blog

The blog is composed of categories namely Beauty, Fashion, Food, Giveaways, Music, Shops we love and Personal Life. Travel category from places all over the world: Philippines, Australia, Cambodia, France, Hong Kong, Iceland, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Scotland, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States of America, Vietnam and surely more to come. They usually make a travel bucketlist every start of the year from them to fulfill as much as possible. Their recent travel was in Ice Land written in their recent travel blog post “A GUIDE TO TRAVELLING TO ICELAND (VISA, ITINERARY & TIPS)” It covers all you need to know about travelling in Ice Land including the best highlight of the trip- seeing the Aurora Borealis also known as the Northern Lights.

They wrote their first own book entitled “V <3 V Life and Style Diary” all you need to do about the sisters fashion and life blogs tips and tricks. It was released last August 2014 brought to you by Summit Media. It costs PHP250 and is available at National Bookstore Branches nationwide.
In addition, 9 months ago they engaged in Video-making also known as Vlogging. They make videos from hair tutorials, fun challenges, question and answers, room tour videos, daily routines, travel vlogs, and many more. They have about 12,645 subscribers and total of 569,643 views as of the moment.

Their first Billboard was located in Davao City beside Abrezza Mall for Soul Lifetyle brand. They have posters and some solo features in the magazines like Candy Magazine- a popular teen magazine in the Philippines and Mega Lifestyle Magazine. They became Brand Ambassador to the following popular brand here like Smart, SM Department Store, Charles & Keith, Close Up and Purple Groom and gained more sponsors like Belo Medical Group, Creamsilk, Metro Dental and others. They had TV appearances in morning shows like Umagang Kay Ganda. They are also have been invited in different events here in the Philippines and abroad. They were here in Cagayan de Oro City late month of last year on an opening of a finest restaurant in town- The Nest CDO.

Vern and Verniece’s Passion aside from blogging:
Aside from being a lifestyle, travel and fashion blogger, Vern Enciso is a figure skater. She said it was her grandfather who pursued her in ice skating when she was still young and she fell in love with ice.

Verniece Enciso became National Champion at the age of 10, winning the Novice Ladies Division in the 2005 Philippine National Figure Skating Championships. In 2006, she was crowned “Miss Barbie Ice Princess,” and was also the Grand Champion of QTV Channel 11’s “Stars on Ice” with her partner. At the age of 14, Enciso has already won 90 gold, 37 silver and 15 bronze medals from different international and national ice skating competitions.
From that time she stopped ice skating and decided she'd focus more on blogging. However 6 years later he rekindled her first passion.Her recent awards include four gold and two silver medals, competing with representatives from Indonesia, China and Thailand in 2015. Vern Enciso is on the fashion world from the moment he started blogging about her fashion style. I read on her blog that one of her goals is to learn something new every about 3 months and that’s because she wants to keep her mind working and refreshed. She took some Fashion short course at a prestigious fashion institute not just here in the Philippines but in other countries like Australia, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand- at Raffles Design Institute Manila. Her first course for the year 2015 was a short course on fashion management and marketing. Followed by History of Costume, Fashion Promotion and more.

Following them on social media inspires me so much. Fashion and especially Travel have a huge place in my heart and reading their blogs about it makes it so overwhelming. I should say I have learned a lot from them- from the coolest fashion styles which are totally a hit in today’s generation and life lessons impart as well. They shows to everyone how Family oriented they are- that we should value and love our family because our family will always be there for us until the end and that it is not impossible to dream with perseverance and belief in oneself. Kudos to you Vern and Verniece!
