Virgin Tower, situated between the Lühike jalg gate and Harju gate, used to be a prison and a torture place in the medieval times. Now restored into a cafeteria, it is claimed to be one of the most haunted buidings in the Old Town. Apparently, ghosts of the Virgin Tower like to grab the waitresses working there by their skirts and sleeves.
