Volunteering at ÉCU The European Independent Film Festival

Posted on at

Budding young filmmaker? Creative writer? Marketing genius? Social Media Pro? Here is an amazing opportunity for you to gain hands-on experience in the fantastic world of cinema while working with a cool international team in the heart of Paris.

Our festival wouldn’t be as successful as it is if it weren’t for the tireless effort of all the people who volunteer every year. If you want to find out what goes on behind the scenes and join us in making it happen, then we would love to hear from you! We are looking for open-minded, hard-working, autonomous and really fun people to join our team and take charge of the following missions:

* International marketing and communication
* Sponsor relations and fundraising
* Public and media relations
* Confident translation (all EU languages)
* Social media buzz
* ÉCU blog and newsletter writers
* Creative content producers
* Cinema workshop coordination
* Event management

These are unpaid internships that offer great learning experience, networking opportunities and strong references. Previous ÉCU interns (over 150 from over 25 countries during the last 7 years) have moved on to become film producers, journalists, production managers, and skilled team players in international film festivals. One alumnus even started her own festival! Working hours are flexible and initiatives are welcome, but we are looking for solid commitment to ensure the success of the festival. Already got an internship or a job? You can also support the festival by contributing to our blog or becoming your school’s ambassador.

Please send us your information by and filling out our volunteer form at this address: spreadsheets.google.com/a/ecufilmfestival.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dGh5Y1hPVkhmTjhaT0VCYUxvdFUwQ3c6MQ

We will get back to you as soon as we have reviewed your information.
