War and Peace
Throughout the known history people have fought wars. They used to fight with swords, arrows, spears and on foot as well as horse back. However with the invention of modern technology the weapon become very destructive.
The early 20th was the period when many countries of the world thought it was a golden opportunity to use these new weapons such as fighter planes, tanks, submarines and explosives to conquer other countries. Germany, Italy and Japan were the foremost among the nations who started a second world war. Until the Second World War many people in the world thought that war is an answer to their problems. Only then did the world realize that the wars must be avoided in future. More than fifty three million people killed during the war. Today we no longer think of war as an achievement. The real achievement for all countries is to maintain peace within their boundaries as well as with other countries of the world.
