After Pakistan actually involved the in fight against militancy in South Waziristan and other northern areas ,the people of the US and Europe started questioning achievements of the US and NATO forces occupying Afghanistan.In order to divert attention of its people the US started accusing that terrorists from FATA region of Pakistan are intruding into Afghanistan.However US perhaps forgot the fact that on the Afghan side of the ‘Durand Line’ there is heavy deployment of ISAF and ‘Afghan National Army’

 

.The increasing pressure of the US govt.on Pakistan for ‘doing more’ is an implicit gesture of putting all the burden of this ‘lost war’ on Pakistan.Since 2001 ,with her ‘stick and carrot policy’ the US govt.has been constantly emphasizing Pakistan govt. to ‘do more’ for eradicating ‘Al-Qaeda Network’ and this has been replaced by ‘Haqqani’s Network’ in the recent years especially after Osama’s assassination .In the recent years Pakistan govt,seems to be done with the ‘carrot’ once offered by the US,what is left behind is only the ‘stick’ constantly lurcking on the head asking ‘do more’ .There is a staple diet of empty promises and that is what they are dishing out to Pakistan .

Pakistan is busy in US war on terror a task our govt.has to accomplish even by putting other national core issues at stake.What to talk of Paksiatn’s success in ‘war on terror’ when ‘native forces’ are being used to kill’natives’.This is the term the ‘white world’ has often used .Though Pakistan has to suffer heavy economic ,human and military losses in ‘war on terror’ yet the US’ govt .question about the aid it provided to Pakistan for this task.If the US remains unsuccessful,Pakistan also stands at a distance from its victory in ‘war on terror’.
