Legendary New York City nightclub doorman Wass Stevens celebrated his 45th birthday last week at Avenue Nightclub. The always well-dressed Wass also stars in the TNT series "Public Morals." The series is set during the 1960's era in New York City. It is a 1 hour drama that centers on New York City's Public Morals Division of the New York Police Department.
Bouncer Chronicles reports that Wass showed up to his party in handcuffs, wore a prison uniform and was escorted in by fake prison guards. Some of the people there celebrating with him were cast members Katrina Bowden and her husband Ben Jorgensen. As the celebration got going Wass jumped onstage with his band to perform Bush's "Machine-head" and "Brown Sugar" by The Rolling Stones.
