According to Bouncer Chronicles legendary doorman Wass Stevens was on the other side of the velvet ropes at the Sundance Film Festival. Wass, the ex-gatekeeper of popular Avenue and Marquee nightclubs was hanging at a party for his new film Patti Cake$.
Our spies spotted him at the Rand Luxury Lounge when news spread the film sold to Fox Searchlight for $10.5 million. The movie is about a suburban rapper in NJ that stars Danielle Macdonald. Wass was in shock and couldn't believe the awesome news.
