Maalaala Mo Kaya (translated in English as "Would you remember?") is a great show to watch. It is a drama series broadcast in The Philippines on ABS-CBN every Saturday evenings. It is perfect for bitLanders' large Filipino audience!

The host, Charo Santos
The host, Maria Rosario Santos y Navarro, is known as Charo Santos-Concio or simply Charo Santos. Born in 1955, she is a Filipina media executive, and also occasional actress, television and film producer. She currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of ABS-CBN Corporation, the largest entertainment and media company in the Philippines.
Radio and other programs
The series has a counterpart radio program on DZMM, Maalaala Mo Kaya sa DZMM, as well as a pocketbook and a comic book adaptation. The eponymous song, "Maalaala Mo Kaya", is sung by Constancio de Guzman and also serves as the show's opening theme.

Even after 20 years, Maalaala Mo Kaya continues to inspire millions of viewers around the world through its life stories. From high school loves to family crises, from tales of overcoming the impossible to traumatic experiences, Maalaala Mo Kaya can speak to any of us.
A very popular episode is the 16th anniversary special, "Rehas", where Gina Pareño played a mother who never gave up on her three mentally-ill children. For her performance, she won the top prize in the 2008 Asian TV Awards and Seoul Drama Awards.
