What Did It Feel Like?
It was amazing, I just stood there looking into his eyes, and him looking into mine, we didn't even have to speak to one another, our eyes said it all, he put his hand on my hip, and the other round the back of my neck, I put my hand on the side of his face, still looking into each others eyes, and then we kissed for the first time!
It's like nothing else mattered at that moment, and whenever I'm with him the rest of the world like disappears, all bad feelings disappear and one look at him and I've got a huge smile, even now after we've been together so long, every day I fall in love with him a lil bit more!
What Happened Next?
We sat down together and it was like I had known him forever, we instantly connected, we couldn't keep our eyes off each other, I knew right then at that moment that he's the one! I had never felt this way about any other lad ever! The way I feel when I'm with him it's like, it's indescribable! It feels so good inside and out, even just typing about it now, the feeling I have. It really makes you realise.
We had a bit of a tough time with trust, about 7 months into our relationship, but we managed to sit down and sort things out like a real 'couple'. We tell each other everything and anything, we've got such a good relationship it's un-real, I've never had this before it's so amazing! I know I keep using the word amazing, but it really is AMAZING!
Lessons Learned
- If you feel like there's something there, don't hold back. What's the worst that could happen?
- Trust is a BIG thing in a relationship, there must be trust for the relationship to work
- You must be able to tell each other things about yourselves, even if they may be embarrassing
- BE YOURSELF! If you're not yourself, then it's like your love interest is loving someone who isn't actually you.
- If your love interest is doing something to you that you do not like, then ask them to stop, don't think that you must do things with them because you don't!
- Be as open as you can about everything
- don't keep secrets
