About 1 1/2 weeks into the relationship

What Did It Feel Like? 

Oh, it's the best feeling that you could ever imagine. It's like being wrapped in a big, warm, soft, fluffy blanket; and eating your favorite chocolate; while watching the most romantic movie ever. It's pure joy that you don't realize unless you're with or thinking about your significant other. The feeling of being loved is like nothing in the world. There's no comparison of the happiness that you feel when you are truly in love. And to know that they love you just as much as you love them makes it even better. You will feel completely satisfied with your life. You want nothing but to be with that person that you admire.

What Happened Next? 

We were together only for 5 weeks, but we loved each other very very much. It was some of the best days of my life. We would have stayed together, if we hadn't gone to separate colleges. He went to LSU, and I went to Harvard. 6 years is a very long time. We are very close friends, and hope to get back together after graduate school.

Lessons Learned

• I've learned that you can't judge a book by its cover. When I first saw the man I was in love with, he was sleeping on the school bus on the way home from high school. We were seniors at the time. But after I added him on facebook, I really got to know him well and I saw that he was fun, and sweet, and we just connected. I respect him, and I cherish the time we spent together.
