Growing up I heard often that life is everything you make of it. This could not be further from the truth. It did not take me too long in my adult life to realize that life is not what you make of it.

I know this might sound a little hasrsh however,I am speaking from experience. Everyone knows there are a lot of people in this world who live a little more privilaged lives than others. That being said they have more resources to make life the way they want it.

On the opposite end of the spectrum no matter how one who is not so well to do tries to make their life the way they want it, they end up failing. There are so many who set their kids up for failure. They have kids at young ages and then do not take care of these kids. The kids end up messed up to say the least.

Then there are those few people like me who hold of on bearing children and still end up in the same situation that my parents are in. I do not understand completely about what my life would have been like if my parents had not messed me up so bad. I am trying to make the life I want, but keep stumbling and falling. I know I will get there.
