Matisse's "Le Bateau" was displayed upside down at New York's Museum of
Modern Art for 47 days before anyone noticed.

Henri Matisse was a French painter who lived between 1869-1954. He was one
of the most famous artists of the 20th century and a proponent of Fauvism,
a modern art movement of bold and vibrant art. "Le Bateau" is one of his
well known works. It is a paper-cut of a blue boat and its reflection that
Henri Matisse made in 1953.
