A computer is a device that basically has the whole world running around it.

There is nothing on this earth that is not possible or even available on the computer. Its a devise that contains the unimaginable information globally. The word computer was first recorded as being used in 1613.

A computer generaly means a progammable machine. It first started off by being a large heavy equipment that were all seperatly linked by wires. Then it went onto being portable p.c, then onto tablets. These days modern computers are electronic & digital & also portable, meaning you can carry your modern computers anywhere you go..

MASS STORAGE DEVICE:This allows a computer to permanently keep information of large amounts...

INPUT DEVICE: Usualy known as a keyboard & mouse. These devices help to input information in which instructions enter the computer.

OUTPUT DEVICE: Known as the display screen or printer. This allows you to see what the computer has done for you.

ADVANTAGES/DISADVANTAGES OF A COMPUTER...

This device has many positive sides but also many negative issues. It sure does give out alot of information globally but if it is used wrongly or abused it can cause problems.

 

Schools these days rely too much on this device rather than encouraging children to go to the librarys and actualy having the skills of searching for information from books.
Parental guidance is a great issue in this era as alot of children these days are left unsupervised with free access to the internet, leading to quite afew problems.......
