Client server role used in Exchange server 2010 to provide access for a user to the mailbox.

All user got access to their mailbox through the client server role.

Also it’s providing a lot of function through the availability service.

The availability services provide updates the information for worker calendar, meeting schedule information about the services that are available.

Also it provides the automatic reply massages when he is out office for period of time.

The other function which it has that is access automatically configuration, means that when we want to connect to mailbox through the Mobil phone or other devoice it will connect aromatically.

The Autodiscovery services also work when we move the mailbox and so many other functions.
