Search engines have robot scripts that regularly crawl webpages on the internet to look for fresh content . When you post fresh content on your site , the crawl robot of search engines will go through it and index it in a few days . After indexing , your webpage starts showing in the relevant searches of the search engines .

To get indexed in the search engines , your content needs to be original , unique and keyword rich . It is alright to research and gather information from the various sources on the web about your topic but it is absolutely not okay to copy such information word to word . Search engines can identify copied content and since the original is already indexed , the copied content is ignored . So research and gather information from the internet and the write and present it in your own words . Fresh and original content will always get you traffic from the search engines .
