What was the most distressing and painful experience for Jason?

 

Answer:

 

Jason had let his father down.As a result he had to go through the most painful and distressing experience of his life. As a result of Jason's lie, his father decided to walk the 18 miles back home along the dusty road. It was dark. Jason made apologise for his wrong doing but all in vain. He started following him in the car hoping he would consider his requests after some time. He just ignored him and went on and on contemplating on Jason's misbehaviour which he considered his passed through much physical and emotional pain. but far more was  Jason's pain and distress as he had realised his mistake. thus this experiance helped  Jason to be a man of strong character without any weakness in it.
