When will India or Pakistan play a Soccer World Cup?

The entire world is excited about the Soccer World Cup. There are lots of debates going on as who is the best team this year or who is the best player. Is it Messi or is it Ronaldo? Which team has the best attack or who has the best defense? The fans are cheering for their teams of every nation playing the World Cup.

But how many of us know that Brazil and Argentina have more fans cheering for them outside their country than the people of the respective country. And the fans are the people from India and Pakistan.

Buts it’s high time that that we start thinking that will we ever cheer for our country playing the World Cup. India and Pakistan, two of world’s greatest population and we are incapable of bringing out a team of Soccer players which can match the great names like Brazil and Argentina. Where do we lack? Is it the infrastructure or the physical built of the people of these nations?  If it is infrastructure then why does not the government take active part in the development of Soccer? The government of both the nations should put more effort for the development of the game in India and Pakistan.

How long will we have to wait to see our national players giving a tough fight to Messi or a Neymar?
