A rare photo of marco polo sheep named after famous explorer who once travelled in this region via silk road to ancient imperialist China.This animal is mostly found near Khunjrab pass and upper Hunza but due to mass hunting during construction of KKH ...most of them migrated to Chinese side.Weight of horn is about 50-70 pound [very heavy].....kindly note that its horns are totally different than those of ibex and markhoor.
