Why did I become an Entrepreneur

S.M Asad Ul Haq grandfather was a Jagirdar in Behar they all live in a joint family havili along with the families. His grandfather died when his father was 12 year old. They migrated to east Pakistan where they able to get some land in Maragacha on the basis of claim against the loss of land in Behar India his father moved to Dhaka to continue his education here he completed bachelor of commerce after competition he proffered to take up employment in United Bank of Pakistan in 1971 once again the family had to migrate this time East to west Pakistan, there family did not receive any compensation the Jagirdar family become landed S.M Asad father with his wife and children move to a rented house in federal B area.

S.M Asad Ul Haq has was boron 17 January 1984 his eldest brother already completed education he was therefore a kid brother to his elder siblings. His father continued his Job with the same Bank until 1980. The resignation of his father created the job opportunity for him to think of finding alternate means of livelihood next five years he takes a job of accountant for a friend who was involved in the construction business when S.M eldest brother graduated with B.Tech in civil engineering his father decided to resign from his job and launch own construction company with his brother as his partner then after some time company go bankrupt the stress of falling business led to the development heart problem of his father than he close down the business although they not become successful but it give them the taste of entrepreneurship which involves the taking of risk of launching a new business enterprise which involves the taking of risk of  launching a new business enterprise

S.M brother Touseef completed his education bachelor of commerce than he decide to start own business. Touseef had idea of operations of a stationary business he want to start restaurant he thinks that food business never fail. The strategy for getting a good Karigar is to the visit a running restaurant serving to fast food. The choice of the Karigar was made by his father and the name was Inyat they had rent house in orange area, it was decided that the business would primarily be a Bar-B-Q restaurant because that was want Inyat knew best the next step was agreement the two shops own by his father friend this include the purchase of furniture’s and fixtures.

The next item on the agenda was the menu. BBQ is primarily on evening food that meant that the restaurant would open only in the evening and also learn the ropes of the business the restaurant started its business with BBQ menu after couple of month they started to think of expansion.

The opening hours of the Restaurant were extended and lunch and breakfast. His father controlling the cash counter and managing the accounting of the business and his brother managing the supplies and other Management related work. This continued for about two year the work stress and sitting late hours started to have effect on his father health the business appeared to running well until the end of 1989 and than tragedy struck his father suffered major in the hospital he died.

S.M was year old. Although he business appeared to be running well in terms of customer turnover the business started to face major cash flow management problem which led them to closure of the business there was a major problem early his father gives so much loan which Touseef try to take back but he fail because of having no paper work.

Finally business closed and Touseef did not find failure reason another failure reason was the inability of Touseef to budget the expenses of running the business and allocating a certain part of daily cash flow inability to realize the credit sale was another reason for failure. Another aspect was the importance of product costing.

S.M Asad Ul Haq was born in Karachi in 1984. When he was eleven his brother send him to Madrasa for Hafiz-e-Quran next 5 year he didn’t  get formal education.
